Business Licensing Public Outreach
Public engagement in the efforts to reform the licensing system supported by the project and public information campaigns is a key task undertaken by the MCCA2 project.

To this end before the opening of the National Licensing Center, the project has elicited feedback from the representatives of the business community on the new law on licenses as well as the online licensing information portal at:
www.qkl.gov.al.

In the meantime time, a nationwide media campaign on the new one-stop-shop for licensing, targeting the business representative and the general public, started on June 9, 2009 to coincide with the grand opening ceremony with the participation of the Albanian Prime Minister, the USAID Mission Director and a representative from the MCC.

Under the slogan: "NLC – Even easier for businesses in Albania", the one month campaign includes daily broadcasts of a TV and radio spot, city light posters in Tirana and Durrës, twice daily print ads and an information brochure distributed Tirana, Durrës, Vlora, Elbasan, Shkodër, Fier, and Korçë at National Registration Center branches, regional tax offices, other municipal offices, post offices, district courts, business associations.
